By downloading, installing, or using the Koshin Reiki mobile application ("the App") or accessing the Reiki Nook website ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App or Service.
Reiki Nook provides a guided Reiki practice timer and school community platform. The App offers timed practice sessions, session logging, and a community space for members of participating Reiki schools. The Service is provided by Jared Murphy ("we," "us," or "our").
To access community features, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
The App is intended for personal Reiki practice and community participation within your school. You agree not to:
You retain ownership of content you post to community spaces (posts, comments, photos). By posting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to display that content to other members of your school within the App. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose outside the Service.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or that we reasonably determine to be harmful to the community. School administrators may also moderate content within their school's community space.
The App provides a timer and guided structure for Reiki practice. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Reiki practice is complementary and should not replace professional medical care. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns.
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and audio content, is owned by Reiki Nook and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written consent.
You may delete your account at any time from within the App. Upon deletion, your account will be deactivated immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.
We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App or Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
